Cummins ISX Dual Cam Engine Parts – Oil System Section

The oil system in the Cummins ISX Dual Cam engine is designed to deliver consistent lubrication, cooling, and protection for the engine’s critical components. At the heart of this system is the Cummins Oil Pump, which maintains optimal oil pressure across a wide range of CPL configurations. This precision-engineered pump ensures a steady flow of oil to bearings, pistons, and camshafts, minimizing wear and heat buildup under heavy-duty operating conditions. Replacing a worn oil pump helps restore proper lubrication and safeguards against costly engine damage.

Supporting the pump is the Oil Pan, which serves as the primary reservoir for the lubrication system. The Oil Pan Gasket ensures a leak-free seal, preventing oil loss and maintaining internal pressure balance. The Oil Filters, available in multiple spin-on configurations, are built for superior filtration performance—trapping contaminants and extending the life of both the oil and the engine itself. To assist with maintenance, the Oil Filter Removal Wrench provides a reliable grip for secure, damage-free filter replacement.

Temperature regulation is handled by the Cummins Oil Cooler and Oil Cooler Housing Gasket, working together to manage oil temperature and prevent thermal breakdown during prolonged operation. The section also includes Fuel and Oil Pressure Switches in multiple PSI ratings (5, 10, 20, and 27 PSI), ensuring accurate monitoring and early detection of pressure changes.

Diesel Pro Power offers premium aftermarket parts for the ISX Dual Cam engine, combining durability, precision, and reliability to keep your Cummins engine running smoothly in the most demanding applications.
